Sirens

Sirens — Donna Creighton, Amber Cunningham, and Jo-Ann Lawton — perform music honouring the triumph of the human spirit, inspired by stories of gritty determination and hard-won battles. The group uses traditional folk, swing, a cappella, jazz and many other styles of music to create performances filled with playful self-expression and camaraderie. Sirens have released three CDs, and are recognized as one of the top contemporary folk acts in Canada.

Project Sing!

Project Sing! is a choir dedicated to performing music with a personal resonance for young women and artists. The ensemble is made up of 22 women trained in choral music under the direction of Jennifer Moir. Project Sing! is based at the University of Western Ontario, and released The World Awaits, a progressive classical contemporary recording, in 2001.
